Thoughts from the "Day"

Hmmm.....I know, I haven't blogged in forever, and I hate saying that, because I don't care! Yes, it is bad form for blogging, but that's just how I roll, haters! So, here are my thoughts from the couple of weeks:

• I discovered a new mascara and it is even better than Diorshow Blackout, it's Yves Saint Laurent's Volume Effect Faux Cils, and it is FABULOUS!!!
  
• If you cannot afford to leave a tip, do not go out to dinner! Did you know servers only make about $3 before tips? After taxes, that's practically nothing. That means if you don't tip, they don't get paid, so don't be cheap, Jesus doesn't like cheap.
• There is no Nascar race today...I am sad.
• Two of my closest friends are getting married on Friday, I am so excited for them, but not so excited for the dress and heals I have to wear in front of 200 people as a bridesmaid. They are a great match for each other, and pray that God will bless their marriage.
• I got to build something (a small sign) for The Wave last week, and loved it! I have really spread my creative wings as a graphic designer, but nothing beats physically making something come to life. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I got to do it again.
• Being stuck in this "in between" part of life for so long is wearing on me. I am over living under my parents thumb. They are fine, giving me space and freedom, but I just want to be on my own. My goal is to get a place on my own by the time I graduate, if not sooner!
• If you have not seen Slumdog Millionaire or Gran Torino yet, you should, they are both great movies!
• Needing off for 2 Fridays in a row (the wedding and d-now) might have gotten me fired, please pray for my job to want to keep me around, or for better oppurtunities to come around.
• Disciple Now, an event I'm helping plan for CBG's student ministry is in two weeks, I am so excited to see what God has in store for the students of Coral Springs, I just hope I am able to make it the best it can be, and my leadership can stand up to the great team already established at my church.
• I got a new hoody yesterday, it is so cute!
